Our
History
|
1984
Martin
Wilheim founds PACOTHANE as a Division of Paper Corporation of United
States, then a wholly owned Subsidiary of Unisource Corporation, a NY
Stock Exchange listed company. PACOTHANE Release Film is invented and
introduced into the market place and becomes the leading product of
its type for multilayer PCB production. PACOTHANE Division pioneers
the concept of "Just-In-Time" Delivery by appointing exclusive Stocking
Distributors, each an industry leader, in almost every PCB producing
market in the world. The new concept of offering custom-sized Sheets
and Tooling is also introduced.
1988
PACOTHANE
Division expands its Product Line Card to include PACOPADS (Pressure/Temperature
Diffuser Pad), PRESSPROBE Pressure Testing Film, PACOTHANE "PLUS" Conformal
Film, and PACOVIA Laminating Film. Like PACOTHANE, these new products
prove to be important, scrap-reducing, processing components to world-class,
high technology, manufacturers of Printed Circuit Boards.
1994
Martin
Wilheim acquires PACOTHANE'S joint-venture, manufacturing partner in
order to vertically integrate the company. With this purchase, PACOTHANE
controls it's own R&D Department and Manufacturing Facilities, over
100,000 sq. feet of space (> 9000 sq. meters), and offers Just-in-Time
production, fabrication, warehousing and shipments to its worldwide
customer base.
1999
Martin
Wilheim purchases PACOTHANE Division from Unisource. He forms a new
company now known as PACOTHANE TECHNOLOGIES, Division of Multilayer
Worldwide Enterprises LLC, which retains the rights to the "PACO" name.
2002
Pacothane
Technologies' Manufacturing Facility, now a sister company, achieves
registration to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard, ensuring continual improvement
in our ability to serve our customers and to effectively respond to
the changing marketplace, through the controlled development and manufacturing
of our products from concept to finished product.
